I service FDM (filament based) machines only - Sorry, no resin machines - I just have not started into that area and have no experience with them.
I do this as a side job, around my main job. My main job is a overnight job and has a LOT of overtime. This means most of my communication will be via text or email and often come in at night. I am up at odd hours and times. Unfortunately this also means that I sometimes may need some time before I can get to your machine. Some days are 16+ hours at my normal job. I always try my best to get the machines back to you as soon as possible, but I like to be up front and let you know that sometimes it takes a bit.
Advice is always free, I will always willingly attempt to help, suggest things to try, link to videos and documents that help, etc., prior to bringing it in. If its something common that you can fix, great! I try to help everyone learn as well as keep the printers running.
My rate is 40 dollars a hour, but most issues are resolved in that first hour. If more time is needed, I'll let you know ahead of time for approval.
Parts are charged separately, but you will be checked with before ordering, with a estimate, including shipping, taxes, and handling, rounded to the closest even dollar amount to keep it easy.
I do not charge for test printing time - I only charge for bench and wrench, and will do my best to stick to one hour, or keep it down as much as possible.
This is a drop off and pick up service, meaning you would need to get the printer here, and pick up once done. This can be arranged in person, if Im home and awake, or you can use my porch drop and pick up service. My porch is semi covered, well hidden, and under cover of multiple security cameras. Many people choose this option. I have tarps for rainy, windy weather days just as a added protection, but the porch is usually dry unless its a wind blown storm. If you give me a heads up when you will be dropping off. we will confirm the weather is ok and the tarps are available if needed. Almost all my customers use this porch - please know its safe.
I am in Whitinsville, a part of Northbridge. The address will be provided as we arrange a drop off agreement.
Payments are due at the completed repair prior to or at pick up time. I accept Cashapp, Venmo, Facebook Pay, cash. Unfortunately at this time, I don't accept credit cards, and I can not use PayPal.
